Vaccinations
At Colliers Cattery, we have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to unvaccinated cats. For the safety of all our guests, all cats should be vaccinated against Feline Enteritis, Feline Influenza (Cat Flu) and Feline Leukaemia.
We ask all owners to provide us with vaccination dates before arrival and show vaccination certificates at check-in. We regret that we will be unable to check any cats in without up-to-date records.
These vaccinations will protect your cat from disease but they also minimise the risk for other feline guests. All cats should receive the core vaccinations as a course of two injections around three weeks apart. The course should be completed at least two weeks before arrival.
A booster vaccination will be required every year. If this is missed the course of two vaccinations will be required. Please allow enough time to allow for vaccinations before arrival to avoid disappointment.
Flea & Worm Treatments
All guests should be up-to-date with prescribed flea and worming treatments. We recommend purchasing the required treatments directly from your vets as these are often more effective than treatments you can purchase over the counter.
Have Questions?
If you are unsure about your cat’s vaccinations or worm and flea treatments, give us a call or alternatively your local vet will be happy to advise.
